My stay was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious, making for a pleasant stay overall. However, they are showing signs of wear and really need a refresh. The service was friendly and fairly efficient, but some aspects could use improvement, considering the price point. The location was convenient and central, offering easy access to the town center. When it comes to dining, there were hits and misses, with some dishes falling short of expectations. Despite some shortcomings, the overall experience was decent for the price paid.
The hotel had clean rooms and a delicious breakfast, but the noise from the bar area was disruptive for families with loud conversations and children running around. The staff, including Josh at the bar and the man from breakfast, were very friendly and accommodating, even charging the special rate for an extra night. The location offered lovely water views, but there were issues with noise echoing from the foyer and a motor sound. The dining experience was good value but lacked some items for late breakfast diners. Overall, it was a mix of positives and negatives.
